Four positions we will not hedge on.

We have strong opinions about how this work should get done. These are the four we come back to in every engagement.

Format is not decoration.

Good work that is structurally incomprehensible to a crawler or an LLM is wasted effort. Schema markup, heading hierarchy, entity clarity, clean code patterns — these are not optional in 2026. They are the price of admission.

Traffic without intent is vanity.

A clinic ranking #1 for "cheap botox" is losing to the clinic ranking #5 for "botox specialist [city]." Volume is a distraction when the intent does not convert. We chase the right metric for the business, not the biggest one.

AI agents execute. Humans decide.

Every piece of client-facing work that leaves iHost is reviewed by a senior human operator. Agents run the volume. Humans own the decisions. That line does not move, regardless of how fast the agents get.

Recommendations without priority are not recommendations.

There are always 20 things to fix. The job is ranking them by impact and telling the client which three to do first. An unordered list of suggestions is just work someone did not finish.

Every engagement runs on the same three-layer model. The layers do not change by service, by tier, or by client. What changes is the surface area and the cadence.

Agents execute

AI agents handle the weekly execution: audits, outreach, research, content drafting, code generation, data hygiene, reporting. Agents run more volume and iterate faster than human teams at the same cost. That is the leverage.

Senior operators supervise

Every engagement has named senior operators with 10+ years of domain practice. Every piece of client-facing work is reviewed by an operator before delivery. Agents do not publish content, send messages, or merge code without human review. No exceptions.

Humans own every client-facing decision

Strategy calls are run by people. Discovery calls are run by people. Negotiations, scope decisions, and the final call on whether an engagement is a fit — all people. Agents support every conversation with research, data, and drafts. Agents never replace the conversation itself.

Kris Zorzakis has operated iHost Digital since 2010, with 20+ years of personal practice in digital marketing going back to 2005. Before the AI-native rebuild, iHost ran as a traditional agency serving clients across healthcare, consumer tech, retail, business services, and professional services. The 2026 operating model change kept the client roster and the standards, and replaced the delivery model underneath.

The iHost team today includes senior human operators across marketing, sales, and engineering, alongside the AI agents that execute the weekly cadence. Every operator has done this work in traditional agencies for years. Every agent operates under a named operator's supervision. No client-facing output leaves iHost without review.
