1. Who we are

iHost LLC (doing business as iHost Digital) is a US-based digital agency operating since 2010. iHost LLC is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can reach us at info@ihostdigital.com for any question about this policy or your data.

2. What we collect

We collect two kinds of information.

Information you give us directly.

When you fill out our contact form, you provide: your name, email address, company name, phone number (optional), the service you're interested in, your budget range, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.

Information collected automatically.

When you visit the site, we collect standard web analytics: pages you view, how you arrived (referrer), your approximate location (derived from IP address), your browser and device type, and how long you spend on the site. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

We do not collect: your precise location, biometric data, financial information, payment information, data from connected devices, or information from social media profiles.

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether visitors who arrive from our paid search campaigns submit a contact form. This is not retargeting — we do not use your visit to show you ads on other websites. The pixel only records whether you completed a contact form action.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Send you the scope, proposal, or referral you requested
  • Schedule calls or meetings if you ask us to
  • Follow up on active conversations

We use automatically collected analytics to:

  • Understand which content is useful to visitors
  • Identify broken pages or site problems
  • Plan future content and improvements

We do not:

  • Sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason
  • Share your contact details with third-party marketers
  • Use your information for automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects
  • Include your email in mass marketing lists without your explicit consent

4. How long we keep it

Contact form submissions: retained for 24 months after our last interaction, then deleted. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we do it within 30 days.

Website analytics: retained per Google Analytics 4 default (26 months), aggregated and not personally identifiable.

Email correspondence: retained as long as operationally useful, typically 36 months. Older threads are archived or deleted.

5. Who we share it with

We use the following third parties to operate the site and respond to inquiries:

  • Vercel (hosting infrastructure). Vercel may receive your IP address and request metadata as part of standard web hosting operations. See Vercel's privacy policy.
  • Amazon Web Services (Simple Email Service) (contact form email delivery). When you submit the contact form, AWS SES processes the submission and delivers it to our team inbox. See AWS's privacy notice.
  • Google (Analytics 4 and Ads) (website analytics and conversion measurement). We use GA4 for aggregated, anonymized site usage data. We use Google Ads to measure paid-campaign conversions. Google may process this data under its own privacy terms. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Microsoft (Clarity) (session analytics and heatmaps). We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymized session interactions — clicks, scrolls, page views — to identify usability issues. Clarity does not capture form field contents and masks personally identifiable information by default. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
  • CookieYes (consent management). When you respond to our cookie banner, CookieYes records your consent choice and stores it in a cookie on your device so we don't ask you again on every visit. See CookieYes's privacy policy.

We do not share your information with any other third party, with the following narrow exceptions:

  • If required by law, subpoena, or court order
  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of iHost LLC or others
  • In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, sale of assets), subject to the same privacy commitments

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

When you visit ihostdigital.com, we use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, measure how it's used, and (where you've consented) measure the effectiveness of our paid advertising campaigns.

Strictly necessary cookies.

A small number of cookies are essential for the site to function — for example, the cookie that records your response to our consent banner so we don't ask you again. These are set automatically and cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors find and use the site. These cookies help us identify broken pages, understand which content is useful, and plan improvements. They do not personally identify you.

Advertising cookies.

With your consent, we use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether visitors who arrive from our paid search campaigns complete a contact form. This is not retargeting and we do not use your visit to show you ads elsewhere on the web.

When you first visit the site, our cookie banner asks you to accept or reject these categories. You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the site footer. A complete, current list of every cookie we use — including the cookie name, purpose, provider, and expiration — is available on our Cookie Policy page.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information.

All users.

You can request a copy of the information we have about you. You can ask us to correct inaccuracies. You can ask us to delete your information. You can ask us to stop processing your information.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA).

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, disclose, sell, or share.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete personal information we have collected.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information.

We do not sell personal information for money. Under CPRA's broader definition of “sharing,” some advertising tools we use (Google Ads conversion tracking) may qualify as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of this by rejecting advertising cookies in our cookie banner, or by contacting us at info@ihostdigital.com. Our cookie banner provides a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option for California residents.

European Union and United Kingdom residents (GDPR / UK GDPR).

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — for example, the UK ICO for UK residents or your national Data Protection Authority within the EU.

iHost LLC does not actively target European Union or United Kingdom residents and has not appointed an EU representative under GDPR Article 27 because we do not regularly process EU/UK personal data at scale. EU and UK visitors can contact us directly at info@ihostdigital.com to exercise any of the rights above. We respond within 30 days.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@ihostdigital.com with the request. We respond within 30 days.

8. Children

This site is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at info@ihostdigital.com and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

iHost LLC is based in the United States. Our service providers — including Vercel, Amazon Web Services, Google (Analytics and Ads), Microsoft (Clarity), and CookieYes — store and process data in the United States, the European Union, and other jurisdictions depending on the provider.

Where we transfer personal information from the European Union, United Kingdom, or other regions with data transfer restrictions, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, executed as part of our service agreements with each provider. These SCCs are the legally recognized mechanism for cross-border transfers under GDPR.

If you have questions about the safeguards we use for international transfers, contact us at info@ihostdigital.com.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls on our backend systems, and limiting data access to team members who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the site.

12. Contact us

Privacy questions, data requests, or complaints:

Email: info@ihostdigital.com
Subject line: “Privacy request”

We respond within 30 days.
